Nicole x Missguided

So what its only taken me a fair few months to actually get round to looking at Nicole x Missguided & I now want everything! Except those slouchy leather trousers... those are a bit strange...

The collection is made up of monochrome, cobalt blue and a whole lot of bodycon! I've picked my favourites & wanted to share them with you. I really thought the pieces would be more expensive than they are, I think that's why I didn't look at the collection for so long. However the items are between £15 and £40 which is actually really affordable. When i was browsing I also thought how simple & timeless they are; they will be wearable for years & will never be unfashionable.

one / two / three / four

It was hard for me to narrow down my favourites. I looked at everything and just thought 'wow'! I definitely cannot pick a favourite out of these outfits and I am so tempted to buy them all when I get paid next week... The first two outfits only link to the top so this is the link for the midi skirt & this is the link for the biker leggings.

What are your favourite items from this collection?

Lots of love,

Wishlist #11 - Birthday

As its my birthday on the 25th of this month I decided to have a little look online to see if there was anything that I wanted... well nearly two hours later & an official wishlist is put together which I thought I would share.

1. Nars Sheer Glow - I have been lusting after this foundation for a very long time now but I'm afraid I just cannot justify spending £30... I have heard its so amazingly good I just want to try it for myself! So if anyone would like to buy it for me you're very welcome to! :)
2. New Look Floral Shirt - I'm not usually a shirt wearer - I wear denim shirts over tops and occassionally a check/tartan/plaid whatever u wanna call it shirt, but nothing like this. I think the pattern is amazing, its just like a black floral pattern with some birds flying around as well and I just thought it was pretty cool. I think it would look really nice thrown over some leggings with some black pumps or boots for a Spring afternoon.
3. ELF Eyebrow Kit - I don't actually own any ELF make up despite it being ridiculously affordable. This cute little brow kit is just £4?! Not only is that a massive bargain but I've heard this product is very good...
4. Real Techniques Starter Kit - I included this in a wishlist a couple of months back and I still haven't got my hands on this kit :( I really think it would complete my life. I'm not much of an eyeshadow wearer, the most I do to my eyes is put on eyeliner & mascara but I'm sure I could find other ways to make use of the brushes... the angled brush I could use for eyeliner or my brows, the eyeshadow brushes I could use for concealer... there are endless options!
5. Topshop Floral Skirt - oh my goodness how cute is this skirt?! When I saw it I literally started thinking what I could wear with it and what I could wear it for so I think its safe to say I really need it in my life? I love the ditsy floral print and its just so perfect for Spring even though its mostly black.
6. ELF Concealer Palette - Oh, another ELF product... this time it is the Complete Coverage Concealer Palette which Kayleigh at Couture Girl briefly reviewed in her February Favourites! After reading about it I immediately wanted to buy it because concealer is one of my favourite make up products; it can make you go from looking like a zombie to slightly alive in seconds! Also, this little palette being £4 just seems so tempting! Maybe i'll buy it right... now...
7. Marc Jacobs Daisy 'Delight Edition' - Marc Jacobs is god. He makes perfect smelling perfumes, beautiful watches & amazing bags. Daisy is my number one perfume and this new Delight Edition being released for Spring/Summer just has my name written all over it. Plus, I am loving the blue tint on the bottle.
8. New Look Selfie Sweater - I have been looking for a mint green jumper/sweater for about a month or so now and I love this sweater from New Look. Having Selfie on it just makes it so much cooler. I need it in my life.
9. Topshop Mom Jeans - Topshop are the only place whose jeans I actually get on well with. Its just a shame they're slightly not very affordable... or is that me just being a bit stingy? I tried on a pair of Mom jeans well over 6 months ago, loved them, but didn't end up buying them. Why? I don't know. But here we are again and I really want this pair because they seem like the perfect blue which isn't too light or too dark... I'm rambling now. Basically I just really want these! Their fit is so flattering and they really remind me of the jeans Rachel wears in Friends (which is my favourite TV show ever)!
10. River Island Pug Socks - If you know me well then you know I love pugs so I don't really need to explain why these are on here... these socks would make me so happy.
11. Clarks Tan Brogues - Today I went into Clarks with my mum as she wanted a new pair of boots & I spotted these beauty's... how amazing are they? I fell in love and tried them on but £55 for a pair of brogues is quite steep in my eyes so I sadly put them back on the shelf. I'm not entirely sure when I would wear these though because I either wear my converse or my uggs, there is no in between... but they are just so lovely and they felt so comfortable.

If you have any of the beauty products mentioned please let me know what you're thoughts are? :)

Lots of love,

Wishlist #10 - Topshop Make-up

From L-R: Top - Lips / Liner / Smokey Eye Palette / Kabuki Brush
Bottom - Nails / Lip Bullet / Blush / Nails

Shock horror I don't own any Topshop make up but I have read many a good thing about their range. There I was browsing the Topshop website and I decided to create a wishlist. Lately I haven't really had any inspiration to blog and I find wishlists come easy to me because its relatively like window shopping? Plus I love reading them because I'm nosy so I assume everyone else loves reading them? Anyways here is my list; a couple of lipsticks, a couple of nail polishes & a good old eyeliner. Their nail polish range is something I have heard good things about - the range of colours they do being one thing and the fact they last long & don't chip easily being another thing. So the two colours I chose were Blue Jeans & Wide Awake. Blue jeans is an amazing green/blue shimmery colour and Wide Awake is just the perfect orangey coral Spring colour. Everytime Topshop bring out a new lip product I always think "why have I not tried any yet?!" I read many, many reviews on  them and wonder if they are as amazing as people say they are. The lipstick looks like a subtle peach/nude colour (Ooh La La) which would be wearable for everyday and the Lip Bullet is obviously more of a statement red (Joyride) which could work everyday or be worn more for a night out. Next up is the Kabuki brush because I need a new brush and I really loved the electric blue colour! My favourite make up has to be eyeliner because it just transforms any look from simple to sophisticated. I picked this one in the colour Black Cab because I like the look of the slick & skinny design and the nib looks really easy to use. Next I chose this Golden Aura eye palette because the colours are just so neutral & easy for everyday wear or you could build them up to create a smokey eye... which I, unfortunately, cannot do very well anyways so I would just use this for some highlight and natural eye looks. Lastly, the one thing I have read so many good things about is Topshop blush. This blush is in the colour Flush, I love the peach tone and i am definitely more a peach wearer than a pink blush as it suits my skin tone better so this would sit quite nicely in my collection.

If you have tried any of these products please let me know what you think? Wishlists make me want to buy everything I choose :(

Lots of love,

The Sunday Post: Beauty Wishlist

What better thing to post on a Sunday evening than a wishlist? Usually my wishlists are very fashion related but recently I have been eyeing up some beauty & skincare bits which I thought I could share!

I'm not a massive eyeshadow wearer as I think it doesn't really suit me that much. However, I love the look of the Sleek palettes and this Au Natural Palette would be a good place to start I think; lots of nice neutral shades! After reading many reviews on them, it seems they are a good buy. I have been wanting to buy some new eyeliner for a while but I am just too fussy, I always seem to be browsing the e.l.f website and for less than £4 you cannot really go wrong with this Cream Eyeliner. I definitely think that creamy gel like consistencies in eyeliner always seem to apply better on the eyelid and last much longer than liquid eyeliners so I will be trying this. Next up is something I have heard many rave about, the Lush Cupcake Face Mask - I don't usually do face masks because of a bad allergic reaction when I was younger. However, Lush are known for their fresh & organic products... plus, this is meant to smell exactly like chocolate and I love chocolate? So, win win! I am a massive fan of the Real Techniques brushes and next on my list is the Real Techniques Powder Brush - at the moment I am using a retractable multi-use face brush to apply my powder and I would just love something that is actually meant for powder rather than something I also use to apply blush & bronzer. I have also added the Real Techniques Eye Starter Kit to the list because I think it has a lot of good brushes included! The angled brush could also be used for eyebrows as well as eyeliner and the two eyeshadow brushes could be used to blend concealer! I have already purchased one of the Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lipsticks in 'Glam Plum Fulham' but I have 'Let's Get Naked' on my list as it is such a nice peachy nude colour which is just so wearable for everyday. Simple is one my favourite skin care brands; its affordable & it does the job. I have thought about trying their Kind to Skin Eye Make-up Remover for a while now but I have always just re-purchased Bioderma to be safe. I haven't read any bad reviews on this so it may have to be bought when I run out of my Bioderma cleanser. Lastly, is the L'Oreal Elvive Anti Frizz Serum - I have been looking for something like this for a while; my hair gets super frizzy in any weather and this would be perfect to apply after I have blow dryed or straightened just to stop any frizzyness! I'm not sure if this is any good so if anyone has tried this please let me know your thoughts??

Hope you have had a lovely weekend :)

Wishlist #9 - Essentials

Hello! Currently I am laying on the sofa nursing the worst cold known to man! It has literally come out of nowhere and I am feeling so sorry for myself. Not only am I full of cold but I am now starting to feel sick, which is definitely not good :( hopefully all the flu tablets I am taking will start to take effect soon!
So originally I wanted this wishlist to be January sales based but I soon found that the sales this month are rubbish! I don't know if its just me or maybe i am looking in the wrong places? At this moment in time I am feeling very bitter towards the clothes in my wardrobe and I am getting pretty bored of them so instead, I bring you some essential items & some not-so-essential items that I am lusting after from the likes of Topshop, MissGuided & New Look - my favourite places to shop.

1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6

So not many items really but I think I would genuinely buy all of these... saying that, when I saw that Halterneck bodysuit from Missguided for just £6.50 I popped two in my online basket, that one in black & a khaki one, I just think they will be so wearable? You could pair them with jeans, disco pants, skirts, shorts & with a cardigan over the top! I love the look of these two jumpers, the grey one is from Topshop and I know it would look perfect with leggings or jeans & just be super comfy! The oversized blue leopard print jumper I chose, well, because its leopard print... and we all know I love a bit of leopard! However, I do like the vibrancy of the blue. Next up was these black leather look skinny trousers from New Look! I love the simpleness of them and I know the leather look will add just that something extra to your outfit. Usually I don't really wear much black except for leggings to lounge around in, but this year I think I am going to try and wear black jeans or trousers instead of leggings and blue jeans because they do make an outfit look just that little bit more nicer and more thought out. Lastly, this longline biker jacket from Missguided I just love! I have actually had my eye on it for a while now and it still hasnt gone into the sale :( I didnt get a chance to buy a new coat last year and I would love something this shape. I think this jacket, the black trousers and the leopard print jumper would make a cute outfit, what do you think?

Hope you have a great weekend.

Wishlist #8 - The Christmas Jumper

1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5

This Christmas I am determined to get a proper Christmas jumper. One reason being I will probably be working Christmas day - boo :'( - so I want to feel as festive as I can & secondly I have never actually worn a proper Christmas jumper; shock horror! I've also been seeing a fair few wishlists out there of other bloggers Christmas jumpers and I just felt inspired to put one together! I think my favourite jumper I have picked has got to be the cute little penguin, which is from New Look. I think its a 3D jumper which I think is just adorable! My second favourite has got to be the 3rd jumper which is from Miss Selfridge, I definitely think its a longer length so would be perfect with leggings which I prefer wearing compared to jeans. Actually, I just love all the jumpers... maybe i'll buy them all?

Do you have a Christmas jumpers wishlist?

The Sunday Post: All Things Tartan

<a href="http://www.bloglovin.com/blog/11219155/?claim=uyaq5hvj6wu">Follow my blog with Bloglovin</a>
I am so head over heels in love with tartan yet I still do not have anything that remotely suggests this so here is another wishlist because I swear to Mary once I get paid next week I will buy myself something nice, tartan & cosy! I am still undecided though whether to go for the scarf... or the cardigan... or maybe the skirt...

Wishlist #7

Today I was wondering when was the last time I put together a proper wishlist and I figured out it was back in July?! How crazy is that? I've been proper skint lately what with coming back from an amazing holiday and transferring jobs so not getting paid for like, 6 weeks! However, I have been lusting after quite a few items so I've put together a little wishlist as I thought it was about time (obviously)!!

I don't know what it is about onesie's (I currently have 5...) but I just cant get enough; they're so comfy and you can get some really cool printed ones. I currently don't have anything tartan but I love the print & always have done. I really want a tartan scarf but have failed to find one as of yet so I guess a crop top will have to do, its OK because I love crop tops just as much as I love onesies! This Barry M nail paint colour is 'Red Wine' and its just so perfect for autumn, I've gone through a bit of a stage of not wearing anything too bright on my nails but I'm hoping this changes soon as I love this colour; its just a perfect plum red. I love a statement t-shirt like this and obviously its Halloween soon so I couldn't resist?! Ive said it before but I LOVE leopard print and this jumper from Topshop looks so fluffy and cosy... I need it! I've seen these cut out buckled ankle boots from New Look before on another blog and they were actually being compared to the Jeffrey Campbells (I think...) and they're literally identical?! There is no difference whatsoever and I have been dreaming about them ever since. One beauty product I have seen pop up a couple of times over the last week is the Sleek true colour lipsticks. This shade is in 'Exxxagerate' and I was just attracted to the bright purple shade. I generally suit darker shades, I guess because I'm so pale and I think the swatch of this may actually be slightly darker than in the bullet and for a fiver you can't complain!

I Need A New Coat...

I am still yet to go on my summer holiday (4 days to go!) and I am already dreaming about my new coat that will be purchased when I return in just over two weeks time! Surprisingly I didn't actually find many coats I want which is unusual because when I browse the shops online I end up with a wishlist longer than my arm! I guess maybe because I know I am going to be skint when I return from holiday I don't want to need too much! I am absolutely in love with the "Coatigan" on the left which is from ASOS for a reasonable £55! It is textured so it's not waterproof but look how cosy and comfortable it is! I also love the print. The parka coat on the right is also £55 and from Boohoo.com. I fell in love with the detachable leopard fur trim. I am never going to be able to afford both so I will have to make a decision when I get back from holiday. For now, I just cant choose...

We're all going on a, summer holiday! - Wishlist #6

I'm going to warn you now and say this is the biggest wishlist ever! Me & my boyfriend are booking our September holiday tomorrow to the Dominican Republic so Wednesday night I found myself browsing through every known high street store looking at what I could buy. Then it came to my attention that I could show all you lovely people my top picks are. I have split it into two wishlists just so it is easier to see.

SANRIE FLORAL BARDOT BODYCON DRESS £29.99 - Missguided.co.uk
RHIA STRIPED LOOSE FIT CROP TOP £10.99 - Missguided.co.uk
GINA FLORAL PAISLEY FRILL BANDEAU BIKINI £16.99 - Missguided.co.uk
KLAIR MULTI AZTEC CUT OUT TUNIC £11.99 - Missguided.co.uk
NEON PINK HOTPANTS £28 - Topshop

I absolutely love the whole Bardot style tops & dresses at the moment, bright vibrant prints are also catching my eye so I fell in love with this floral Bodycon dress as soon as I saw it. I thought £30 was a bit much for a dress from Missguided so im hoping the material is extra good quality! I don't really need to explain my loves for crop tops again but I think this striped one would look good with anything; you could wear it with a high waisted skirt and a statement necklace for the evening or with a pair on denim shorts over your bikini. I love a cut out and the bright Aztec print of the tunic really caught my eye so I couldn't not add it to the list! I've been dying to buy this floral print midi skirt from work, I keep looking at it everyday haha but I think it would look amazing with a white or black crop top with some sandals for a casual evening look. I really love the colour of these pink hot pants - the description does say they're neon but they look more pastel to me? Im not really a pink person but these shorts are such a nice fit & the striped crop would look great with these. They also come in a few other colours such as turquoise & lilac.

PARROT PRINT BANDEAU BIKINI - 26 Miss Selfridge
ROBYN BLACK BASKET WEAVE FLAT £26 - Miss Selfridge
BEACH SHOPPER £15 - Topshop
FLORAL FRILL BIKINI £12(?) - Topshop

I saw this giraffe print skirt a couple of weeks ago in the Topshop in Milton Keynes; I was going to try it on but £38 for a skirt seems a bit extreme? I love giraffes so when I saw it on the Topshop website I couldn't help but think I should've brought it. I absolutely love the style of these sandals and the bow is so cute; these might have to be a definite purchase! The two playsuits in the corner I think would be great bikini cover ups for around the pool & on the beach. I love the lilac colour & the lace detail on the reverse and the safari print playsuit is such a quirky print, I really like the whole pinafore/dungarees thing at the moment but im not so sure it would suit me well. Everybody needs a beach bag for their towel & sun cream and this one just attracted me with the summery colours. I've been seeing this floral frilly bikini at work and really love the bright vibrant colours against the white - this one may have to be a definite purchase as well!

So there you have it, my Summer holiday wishlist. What are your top picks for a holiday?

Primark on ASOS.com - Wishlist #5

Primark being sold via ASOS has got to be some sort of dream come true! I don't know about you but when I visit a Primark I am barely in there 10 minutes because it makes me anxious, irritated and just annoyed. The mess is something I cannot deal with and the amount of people hustling past you to try and get their mitts on a £2.50 top is just aggravating. I found out today that Primark has been launched on ASOS and I was so relieved - I couldn't wait to have a peek of what they're selling. It isn't much (20 items) but I have gathered a little wishlist of my favourite bits.. I was paid on Friday but already i'm budgeting after paying out for a few things so maybe these buys will have to wait until next month.

Now, this whole wishlist comes to just over £70. I don't think that's too bad for 6 items. I know Primark clothes aren't all that but I must admit they don't look half bad on these models. Knowing me ill buy a pretty dress and look like a potato! I love wearing crop tops at the moment with high waisted jeans/skirts/shorts so this black with white spots one I fell in love with as soon as I saw it. I'm also loving the monochrome trend so instantly I was wishing these dungarees were mine. I used to wear dungarees as a kid (obviously, who didn't?!) and I really want to buy a pair that I can wear now with a crop top underneath & some cute sandals. The dresses I have picked out I just loved the prints of. My favourites are the denim dress & the Aztec cut out skater skirt. I love a cut out on a dress because I think it just adds that something to a simple piece.

Have you seen the new pieces on ASOS? What are your thoughts?

New Bedroom - Wishlist #4

I am soon to be moving house and over the last few days have been lusting over some new bits I wish to buy for my new bedroom! There's quite a few so I decided to put together a little wishlist.

Decorative Photo Frames £5 each eBay.co.uk.
In my new bedroom I have a couple of shelves up and I know two or three of these photo frames will look really nice with some lovely pictures in. I love the shape & design of them, I think they're really arty and a bit vintage looking.
I have a lot of "bits and bobs" (crap) so I know a couple of these boxes under my bed will really make amazing storage! Maybe for my ridiculous amount of shoes, or something random like belts & books?
Chest of 6 Drawers £85 IKEA.
This colour wood matches my bed perfectly - so obviously they're a must have! My new bedroom has built in wardrobe space and my current wardrobe is falling apart so its worked out perfectly? I just think a chest of drawers like this would complete my clothing storage.
Rug £9 IKEA.
OMG I love this rug! The print, the colours, the shape, everything! And £9? What a bargain!
 Female Floral Mannequin £28 Amazon.com.
The p&p for this is almost as much as the actual cost but omg I love it. I've wanted one for absolutely ages just for decoration or hanging my necklaces on. I love the floral print on this one and I even know where I'm going to stand her in my new bedroom!
I featured a make up organizer like this in my last wishlist. I'm holding off getting one for now obviously because I am moving soon and it would seem silly to organise my make up and then pack it up? I love the size of this one and the drawers underneath would be perfect for my many mascaras that I don't ever throw away! (Not sure on the price because you can buy this as one piece or two separate pieces... I think its around £15.)

Hope you're all having a lovely Sunday! :)
